This handbook explains how the household runs and what we expect from one another. Please read it carefully, ask questions if anything is unclear, and know that our door is always open.

Confidentiality — Household matters are private and never discussed outside the home.

Loyalty — We value trust and long-term relationships over perfection.
No visitors are allowed inside the home at any time, including friends or relatives of staff.
2. Chain of Command
Bryan and Delores — Final authority on all household matters.
Housekeeper (Senior Role) — Coordinates daily tasks, errands, and meals.
Nanny — Dedicated caregiver for the family.
Driver — Handles family transport and errands.
Handyman/Gardener — Handles repairs, maintenance, and serves as backup driver.
No staff member should issue orders outside their role.
3. Staff Responsibilities
Nanny
Primary caregiver: feeding, bathing, diapering, sleep routines, and daily care.
Maintains nursery cleanliness, baby laundry, bottles, and toys.
Keeps a daily log of feedings, naps, and developmental milestones.
Coordinates with parents for any changes in routine.
Trains the housekeeper for light baby support on the nanny's rest day.
Rests during the baby's nap periods when on night duty.
Housekeeper / Cook
Responsible for household cleaning, laundry, and ironing.
Handles grocery lists, inventory, and daily meal preparation.
Maintains kitchen and pantry organization.
Provides light childcare support on the nanny's rest day.
Oversees staff meals and coordinates household supplies.
Driver
Provides safe, punctual transportation for family errands and appointments.
Manages vehicle fueling, maintenance, and cleanliness.
Maintains trip and fuel logbooks.
Assists with shopping or deliveries as assigned.
Reports directly to Bryan or Delores.
Handyman / Gardener (Part-Time, Backup Driver)
Performs yard care, plant maintenance, and outdoor cleaning.
Handles basic household repairs (plumbing, light fixtures, AC filters).
Washes vehicles and maintains outdoor areas.
Serves as backup driver on the driver's rest day.
Coordinates schedule flexibly around household needs.

5. Uniform & Presentation
Uniforms are required during work hours and must be clean and pressed at all times.

6. Meals & Housing
Meals provided by the household.
No outside visitors or guests allowed in staff quarters.
Live-in staff must keep quarters clean and respect quiet hours after 9:30 p.m.
Any issues with housing or maintenance should be reported to the housekeeper.
7. Communication & Conduct
Communicate with respect at all times.
Report problems or absences early.
No gossiping or discussing family matters outside the home.
Personal calls only during breaks.
Conflicts should be resolved privately and calmly through Bryan or Delores.
8. Finances & Errands
Housekeeper manages petty cash for groceries and supplies.
Receipts are required for all reimbursements.
Driver maintains vehicle fuel log and reports weekly.
No personal borrowing or lending of money among staff.
9. Safety & Security
Keep all doors and gates locked when the family is away.
Driver and handyman check gate and garage locks nightly.
Report any unusual persons or activity immediately.
Never share gate codes or access details outside the household.
10. Compensation & Benefits
13th Month Pay: Provided annually per law.
Government Benefits: SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG enrollment maintained.
Meals and Accommodation: Provided for live-in staff.
Paid Vacation Leave: Five (5) vacation days per year, plus one (1) birthday leave per year.
Staff must coordinate coverage before taking leave.
Leave requests should be made at least two weeks in advance.
Bonuses: Discretionary based on performance.
11. Emergencies
Housekeeper secures the home if the family leaves suddenly.
Driver or backup driver handles transport as needed.
Emergency contact list posted in the kitchen.
Any health concern involving a family member must be reported to Bryan or Delores immediately.
12. Summary of Expectations
Respect and confidentiality are non-negotiable.
No visitors in the house at any time.
Maintain professionalism, cleanliness, and punctuality.
Always prioritize the safety and well-being of the family.
Keep open, respectful communication with Bryan and Delores.
